I'm a 24-year-old on a leave of absence, getting ready to return to school. I tend to overthink and run sensitive, so when work piled up I would tire easily and struggle to focus.

During the leave I was at home more, and the problem got worse. At my mother's urging, I visited Sid Ryu Pediatric Psychiatry. That was the first time I learned I had ADHD, and I started using SmartDream alongside the consultation that followed.

The first time I used it, the faint microcurrent on my forehead felt strange, even slightly tingly. As I got used to it, I started to feel small effects. Nothing dramatic at first, but with steady use my crowded thoughts felt like they were settling into order. I used to get caught in anxious loops; that has clearly eased.

Sleep had been hard. I took a long time to fall asleep and woke often during the night. These days, once I fall asleep I sleep through. Focus, too: starting a task used to feel impossible, but once I start now, I sink in much more easily than before.

That ends my SmartDream notes. Thank you for reading.
