A forehead patch delivers a very mild microcurrent. The current acts on brain regions related to the prefrontal cortex, helping support balanced attention regulation, emotional regulation, and executive function. The current is mild — perceived as a faint tingling sensation at most.

When sleep is insufficient, connectivity between the autonomic nervous system and the prefrontal cortex weakens, making behavior control harder and errors more frequent.
